Attention Salt Lake City! You are eligible for preferred financing on your ADU project. If you live in West Valley or the 9-line project area (south of I-80 between I-215 and I-15 in this highlighted area) the Community Development Corporation of Utah is offering construction loans for your new ADU. Key features of the program are loans up to $200,000 with a 3% fixed rate. There is a 30-year amortization period and the loan requires a $2,000 down payment. This program is designed for homeowners looking to increase their property value while also increasing affordable housing options within the city.
